1. First-party storage
TapToCast uses your browser's localStorage (not cookies) to remember small amounts of state on your device, such as a self-chosen display name, sample submissions, and dismissed banners. This is not transmitted to us. See Privacy Policy §3.
2. Cookies we do not use
- No analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, etc.).
- No advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or conversion tags.
- No session replay, heatmap, or behavioural-tracking cookies.
- No social-media tracking cookies.
3. Strictly necessary cookies (set by our infrastructure)
Cloudflare, our hosting provider, may set short-lived security cookies such as __cf_bm (bot management) and cf_clearance (challenge result). These are strictly necessary for the security of the Service and do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive Art. 5(3) exception.
4. How to clear what we store
In your browser, open site settings for this domain and clear "Site data" or "Cookies and other site data". That deletes everything TapToCast has on your device.
5. Do Not Track & Global Privacy Control
Because we do not track you, DNT and GPC signals do not require any change in our behaviour, but we honour them as a matter of principle.
6. Changes
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies we will request consent first.
